Andrea Pirlo has orchestrated the midfield for NYCFC at midfield in 2016. Being the free kick and corner specialist, the 37-year old has showcased his ability to distribute the ball this season. With an 82% passing accuracy and 30 scoring chances created, the Maestro continues to display his elite playmaking ability.
Pirlo has started and played in 13 games for NYCFC in his 2016 campaign, racking up 1,119 minutes on the pitch. Pirlo has collected four assists this season with his best assist against Orlando City SC when he floated a pass to David Villa who had a fantastic finish for one of the more memorable goals of the year.
