Chris Holly is back and better than ever, the NYCFC eMLS player is headed to the first ever eChampions League Finals in Madrid after a long weekend of battling against the best FIFA players around the world.
64 competitors fought hard to qualify for the honor to represent their teams in the tournament, but few advanced. One of those players was NYCFC's own, Chris Holly, who will be repping the City Blue as he makes a run at the title to bring home the trophy to the Big Apple.
Holly kicked off the tournament with four wins and three losses in order to advance to the knockout stage, where he dominated his Japanese counterpart to qualify and move on to Madrid on May 31.
Of the eight players to qualify, only two of them were eMLS players, NYCFC's very own beast, Holly, and Alan Avi from FC Dallas.
Way to go Chris, you made the NYCFC blue proud! Let's bring it home now... Stay tuned for more on Chris Holly's adventure overseas as he heads to Madrid at the end of May. #BeastUp
