David Villa has been recognized for his great performance in Orlando after scoring his 48th and 49th NYCFC goals to bring his team to a 3-0 win for the first time at Orlando's new stadium.
On the 13th minute, NYCFC were handed a chance to score their first-ever goal at Orlando City Stadium with a penalty kick that Villa assumed responsibility for - and slotted it beyond Joe Bendik's despairing dive.
Towards the end of the second half, Villa scored again to put the cap on what felt like a statement victory, scoring from a stunning scooped through ball from Moralez.
