David Villa has advanced to the finals of the AT&T MLS Goal of the Week for week nine.
On a NYCFC corner, Andrea Pirlo sent in the perfect ball and the captain performed an acrobatic finish to help lift NYCFC to a 3-2 victory on Saturday against the Vancouver Whitecaps. For Villa, this was one of two goals on the day.
