New York City FC’s Chris Holly booked his place in the FIFA 18 Global Series Playoffs in Barcelona on Sunday.
The NYCFC eSports man reached the knockout stages in the PS4 division, thanks to a 5W 2L record through the group which put him into the Round of 32.
Holly wasn’t finished there, advancing through the next two knockout rounds before he was finally narrowly edged out at the quarterfinals stage.
That confirmed Chris as one of the top eight players in the world on PS4 and meant that he will be taking to the pixelated pitch once more in June for the EA Sports FIFA 18 Global Series Playoffs where he’ll compete for a spot in the FIFA eWorld Cup final.
Everyone at New York City FC would like to congratulate Chris for qualifying and wish him luck for the Playoffs!
