For the second straight month, goalkeeper Josh Saunders has been named the Etihad Airways Player of the Month.
The 34-year-old veteran was also awarded the honor in March.
Saunders, who had nine saves in three matches in April, was nominated for Major League Soccer Save of the Week (Week 7) for his save on Zach Pfeffer's close-range deflected shot on April 16.
He has been nominated for MLS Save of the Week five times this season. Saunders has 28 saves in nine matches with a pair of shutouts in 2015.
Also nominated for April's honor were defender Chris Wingert and forward Khiry Shelton.
