NYCFC eSports player Christopher Holly has just won the FIFA Ultimate Team PlayStation Divisional Championship of North America!
In his first tournament representing NYCFC, Holly took home the $20,000 grand prize and will go on to represent the club at the FIFA Interactive World Cup.
After securing qualification for the World Cup by finishing in the top three of the PlayStation bracket earlier in the day, Christopher went on to make more history by becoming the first ever player win the overall title after qualifying for the divisional final out of the second bracket.
After initially losing to “Rein10" in the first bracket – Christopher then dropped down to the second bracket and worked his way back up to a rematch in the finals.
It was there Christopher won two consecutive must-win matches against Rein10 to take the title and the $20,000 grand prize, becoming the first ever player to accomplish this feat in the FUT Divisional Championship.
