Head Coach Patrick Vieira will take a late decision on whether to include Maxi Moralez against Vancouver Whitecaps on Wednesday.
The Argentine playmaker, who missed wins over Seattle, Red Bulls and Minnesota, is rated as “questionable” for this final game before the break for the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
Moralez sustained this injury in the US Open Cup defeat to Red Bulls but has resumed full training with his teammates in Canada.
Elsewhere, Ronald Matarrita begins his rehabilitation from the metatarsal injury suffered against Minnesota.
It’s expected that the defender will miss three to four months with the fracture.
Khiry Shelton is also not ready to return for the boys in blue as he continues to work his way back from a hamstring injury.
In addition to this trio missing the game, NYCFC will also be without Miguel Camargo, Sean Johnson and Rodney Wallace who are all away with their nations at the Gold Cup.
