All but two players from NYCFC’s 26-man roster are fit and available for selection on the opening weekend.
Mikey Lopez is still recovering from surgery on his ankle, while Jonathan Lewis is away with the U.S U-20 National Team at the CONCACAF U-20 Championships.
Lopez underwent successful arthroscopic surgery to remove loose bodies in his ankle towards the end of January.
The surgery was performed at Columbia Presbyterian hospital in Manhattan by Dr Griesberg and at the time it was announced that the midfielder should return to training in 12-16 weeks.
Lewis’s U.S Squad reached the CONCACAF U-20 Championships final on Friday night, thanks to their 2-1 win over El Salvador in Costa Rica.
They will face Honduras in the final of a competition the U.S have never won before on Sunday March 5.
For our hosts Orlando City, Cristian Higuita, Rafael Ramos and Kevin Alston are all out injured, while defender Tommy Redding is with Lewis in Costa Rica.
Neither side has any players carrying suspensions over into the new season.
