New York City FC will be without the services of Yangel Herrera, Ronald Matarrita and Khiry Shelton for the trip to FC Dallas.
Matarrita and Shelton are still working their way back from injuries, while Herrera is away on international duty.
Both injured players have returned to training in recent weeks and will hope to be involved on gamedays oncemore by the end of the month.
For the hosts, Mauro Diaz misses the match with a torn Achilles’ tendon and Paxton Pomykal is out with an ankle strain.
Reigning Supporters’ Shield champions FC Dallas are the only unbeaten MLS side going into this showdown between East and West, boasting five wins and three draws.
Coming up against an NYCFC team who have won their last two road games at Philadelphia Union and Columbus Crew SC, it promises to be one of the games of the season so far.
