New York City FC defenders Ronald Matarrita and Maxime Chanot completed their time with their respective national teams for World Cup Qualifiers.
Matarrita started for Costa Rica against Haiti in their 1-0 win over the CONCACAF side on Friday night, playing all 90 minutes. On Tuesday, Matarrita came on as a substitute in the 74th minute and scored his first career goal for the senior national team in the 84th minute.
Chanot, a member of the Luxembourg National Team, played all 90 minutes at center back in the team’s 4-3 loss to Bulgaria.
