Mix Diskerud made his 36th international appearance after coming on at halftime for the United States on Oct. 13. The United States lost to Costa Rica 1-0.
Kwadwo Poku made his first appearance in international play for Ghana. Poku was subbed on in the 82nd minute of the 1-1 draw against Canda on Oct. 13
Andrea Pirlo was called up to play with the Italian national team, however he was not featured in either of Italy's matches (Oct. 10 vs. Azerbaijan and Oct. 13 vs. Norway).
