New York City FC defender Jason Hernandez has been called up to play for the Puerto Rico Men’s National Team.
Hernandez hopes to compete in a Gold Cup Qualifying match against Guyana on March 29 at 7:30pm ET. That match will be played at Juan Ramon Loubriel Stadium in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, the same venue that New York City FC played the Puerto Rico National Team in Dec. 2015.
Hernandez has started and played in three matches for NYCFC this season.
