New York City FC defender Jason Hernandez has been called up to play for the Puerto Rico National team.
Hernandez has been added to the team that will compete in two qualifying matches for the 2017 Caribbean Cup and the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup. The first match is against Antigua and Barbuda on Saturday, October 8, while the second match is at home vs Curacao on October 11 at Juan Ramón Loubriel de Bayamón Stadium.
Hernandez made his debut for the Puerto Rico National Team on March 29 for the 2017 Caribbean Cup qualification against Guyana.
