Venue for final two MLS regular season matches also confirmed.

New York, N.Y., March 9, 2023 – New York City Football Club (NYCFC) can confirm the date, kickoff time and venues for its matches against Atlas FC and Toronto FC in the inaugural edition of the Leagues Cup.

NYCFC will take on Atlas FC in a rematch of the 2022 Campeones Cup on July 23 at Citi Field at 7:00pm ET, followed by Toronto FC on July 26 at Red Bull Arena at 7:30pm ET. Tickets for the match against Atlas FC will go on-sale tomorrow morning at 10:00am ET. Fans can purchase their tickets here.

Following the group stage play, advancing teams will compete in the single-game elimination Knockout Rounds, beginning with the Round of 32 on August 2-4 (16 matches), followed by the Round of 16 on August 6-8 (eight matches). The eight advancing teams will compete in the Quarterfinals from August 11-12 (four matches) before the two Semifinal matches on August 15.

The Leagues Cup 2023 Final and third-place game will be played on Saturday, August 19 and determine the three clubs that will qualify for the 2024 Concacaf Champions League.

If NYCFC advances to the knockout round and hosts any additional matches in the tournament, they will be played at Red Bull Arena.

The highly anticipated Concacaf competition will see all 47 LIGA MX (18) MLS (29) clubs compete in a World Cup style tournament, with three places in the 2024 Concacaf Champions League at stake.

Additionally, the last two matches of the season, which have been listed as TBD in venue, are now scheduled to be played at Red Bull Arena. If either, or both, of these games are ultimately able to be moved to Yankee Stadium or Citi Field, the price of tickets for these games will not change and will stay in the lowest pricing tier. As is always the case with games played at Red Bull Arena, City Members will have the choice to opt-out of either or both of these final two games.
