Page is turned. Work is being put in. All systems go.

Message Received
Last weekend wasn’t good enough. That much is for certain.
Patrick Vieira spoke on the communication with his charges when they hit the training pitch this week,
“The message is that we played few games this year, and of course the last one we didn’t turn up. We didn’t show how a real team spirit and quality. It is just a game, but at the same time it is important for us to understand why and keep working.”
“Honestly the reaction that I’ve had from the players the last couple of days in training has been positive, and we just have to keep working and try to improve every day ourselves.”
Work, work, work, work, work…

Form Check
Sunday will make LAFC’s second match of the week.
The team stayed undefeated at home with a solid 2-0 victory over the Loons from Minnesota, thanks to first goals from Eduard Atuesta and Mark-Anthon Kaye.
With a slew of home games left to come after opening the 2018 campaign on the road, LAFC will feel good despite the extra 90 in their legs.
LA to New York
MLS may have saved the best for last this weekend…
A star-studded tripleheader is slated for Sunday, featuring Portland v Seattle, Orlando v Atlanta, and of course your Boys in Blue vs. the Black & Gold.
While the two preceding matchups will stoke local rivalries old and new, the nightcap of Week 11 in MLS offers up something a bit different – a first meaningful matchup of two teams representing the two biggest cities in America.
Oh yeah, and these teams like to score goals.
Cities of Style
Mutual respect is apparent between Patrick Vieira and LAFC Head Coach Bob Bradley, and the styles of play employed by the two sides are attractive and different.
NYCFC and LAFC are two of the highest scoring teams in MLS so far in 2018, tallying 19 and 20 goals respectively.
There will be goals.
Spoiler Alert
NYCFC will step up with a chance to hand LAFC their first-ever defeat at the brand new Banc of California Stadium.
No extra motivation needed, but who doesn’t love a bit of potential history in the making?
Expect fireworks and call your mom!
