#MakeItHere: NYC Marathon Travel Advisory

nyc marathon travel advisory

The New York City marathon will result in roads being closed for portions of Sunday, which may affect how you make your way to Yankee Stadium.

Don't worry, we've got you covered.

Train Schedule

This Sunday, NYC Subways and the Metro-North railroad will be operating on their normal weekend schedule. However, it's expected that there will be more riders than a normal Sunday so be sure to plan to leave more time for your trip to Yankee Stadium!

If you're riding the Subway from Manhattan, click here to see all of the NYC Marathon's viewing stations, as they might affect traffic to your preferred stop!

Several of these viewing stations will be along the 4 train line, so take a look.

From New Jersey

If you're coming from New Jersey, your best bet will be to take the George Washington Bridge to he Major Deegan Expressway, as this will cut out most of the traffic congestion from your trip!
