The City Boys came out on the front foot, attacking smoothly with a lineup that featured birthday boy Tony Rocha and the re-introduction of Anton Tinnerholm and Alex Callens in the back.


Alex Ring had the first proper chance of the evening off a nicely lofted service from the corner, but Eloy Room did well to react quickly and save the skipping shot off the turf.

It would not be long for NYC to break the deadlock, as the Argentine connection linked up once again when Maxi Moralez found Taty Castellanos with a ball over the back-line…

The second-half was a stingy one, with all hands on deck to preserve another clean sheet for Sean Johnson…
