New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio tweeted a series of comments about Italian football on Thursday, announcing his support for SSC Napoli and mentioning New York City FC and midfielder Andrea Pirlo.
Mayor de Blasio attended New York City FC’s Historic Home Opener at Yankee Stadium and presented the club with a proclamation declaring March 15th NYCFC Day in New York City.
