A pair of New York City FC players have been selected to their 40-player preliminary roster for the 2016 Copa America Centenario.
Midfielder Mix Diskerud was named to the United States roster on Sunday. Mix he has been featured on the national team several times this year, he has had two starts in four matches this year. His last started for the United States in a 2-0 World Cup qualifier loss to Guatemala on March 16.

Ronald Matarrita was named to the Costa Rica roster early Monday morning. The defender has been a constant starter for the Ticos, last starting for them on March 29 in a 3-0 World Cup qualifier victory against Jamaica.
