NEW YORK – New York City FC today announced that the Club will travel to Mexico to face Club Necaxa from Liga MX in a friendly match on Friday, October 7 in Aguascalientes. The match, which will take place at Estadio Victoria, will air live on YES Network at 9:30 p.m. EST.
Club Necaxa, which recently returned to the Liga MX First Division, is led by Head Coach Alfonso Sosa and features Chilean National Team star Edson Puch as well as former MLS player Fabian Espindola who most recently played with D.C. United.

“We are looking forward to our friendly against Club Necaxa. They are a very talented team which will provide us with a challenging match. While there is an international break, this gives us the opportunity to help keep our rhythm on the field and spend time together as a group.”
