Andre Rawls has joined Orange County SC of the USL on loan for the duration of the 2018 season.
NYCFC will have the right to recall Rawls at any time during the loan period.
The 26-year old American goalkeeper was drafted by NYCFC in the 3rd round (44th overall) of the 2015 SuperDraft and played for then-NYCFC USL affiliate Wilmington Hammerheads, before signing with NYCFC on March 3, 2016 ahead of the MLS season.
Rawls served as the third-choice keeper for NYCFC during the 2017 season and had his option picked up for the 2018 season.
Sporting Director Claudio Reyna said: “This is a great opportunity for Andre to go and get regular games at the USL level and continue his development as a goalkeeper. Everyone at NYCFC would like to wish him all the best during his loan spell with Orange County.”
