NEW YORK | New York City FC will open the 300 level at Yankee Stadium for their match against Orlando City SC on July 26. Kickoff is 2:30 p.m. ET. Demand for seats has led to the match being close to selling out of the 27,528 seat capacity normally used for soccer matches.
A limited number of season tickets are still available in the lower bowl for the match, but non-premium single-match tickets for Sunday are now only available in the 300 level. To purchase season tickets and become a Founding Member, please visit: seasontickets.nycfc.com.
This is the third time New York City FC have opened additional sections at Yankee Stadium to accommodate demand for tickets. The Club previously opened the full stadium for both the Historic Home Opener on March 15 where attendance eclipsed 43,500 and for the June 28 match against the Red Bulls that drew a season-high crowd of 48,047.
Over 17,000 Founding Members have purchased season tickets, and the average attendance for New York City FC over the first 10 home matches is nearly 29,000.
Fans can get remaining tickets by visiting: nycfc.com/tickets.
Fans can also buy tickets in advance at the Yankees Box office.
