New York City FC has unveiled its new 2024 away jersey online. The reveal kicks off a two-day pop-up event in Chelsea starting Friday, February 16. Running through Saturday, February 17, the event aims to capture the city's relentless energy, mirrored in the design of the new jersey. Highlights include a display of the '24/7 Kitā, captured by the acclaimed photographer Timothy McGurr, known as 13thwitness, and video content led by STADE, a production company founded by former New York City FC player Ethan White.
The festivities continue Saturday evening, February 17, with an invite-only fashion show led by New York-based designer Taofeek Abijako, known as Head of State. Recognized by the Forbes 30 Under 30 list class of 2019, he has gone on to receive renowned accolades such as CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, Brooklyn Museum/Instagram Design Visionary Grant, and FGI and FGI Rising Star Award finalist. The fashion show was curated by multidisciplinary artist Gianni Lee, the Club's newly appointed art and culture consultant. Leeās previous collaborations include projects with Leviās, Gucci, and Fendi, and he has been featured in WWD, Interview Magazine, and campaigns for Kenneth Cole and Hennessy.
