New York City FC can today confirm that the New York Yankees’ rain-out on August 21 has impacted our September 14 match vs. FC Dallas at Yankee Stadium.
The Yankees have rescheduled their game for September 13 at 2:05pm and, as a result, we have been forced to relocate our match vs. FC Dallas on September 14 to Red Bull Arena, with kickoff scheduled for 7:30PM ET.
We know this venue change is far from ideal and have done everything we can to try to find an alternative date at Yankee Stadium. Ultimately, rescheduling at Yankee Stadium was not possible and the Club is disappointed to have to change plans, especially for our City Members.
Members are assured that with this venue change, money that was applied towards this match at Yankee Stadium will now be credited back to your account balance.
As previously stated, all matches played at Red Bull Arena will continue to be 100% optional for City Members to attend, but of course Ronny and the team would love to have your support.
For those unable to make it, the match will be broadcast live on the YES Network app.
