Major League Soccer announced today that the 2016 MLS All-Star Game will be played against Arsenal.

New York City FC Captain, David Villa hopes that he will be a part of the match this summer.
"I would like to play in the All Star Game again," said Villa. "Obviously the match is very important to me, very important to the league, very important to our club. I hope to have a good season for the supporters and hopefully I can be selected again.”

Villa also believes that playing against a club like Arsenal is beneficial for the league.
"Arsenal is one of the best clubs in the world,” said Villa. "I think it is good for our league to play against a club like Arsenal.”
The 2016 MLS All-Star Game will be held at Avaya Stadium in San Jose on Thursday, July 28 at 9 pm ET.
