NEW YORK, NY (OCTOBER 23, 2014) – New York City Football Club (FC) and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital announced a collaboration today making NewYork-Presbyterian a Founding Sponsor and the official hospital of the Club.
NewYork-Presbyterian and New York City Football Club will also collaborate on a host of community and health-related programs.

Columbia Orthopedics will provide team physician services, headed by Dr. Christopher Ahmad, chief of sports medicine, and Dr. William Levine, orthopedic surgeon-in-chief, both of NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center.

The announcement comes as the Club prepares to kick-off their inaugural Major League Soccer season in March, in their first home, Yankee Stadium. The Club has already unveiled Marquee signings, David Villa and Frank Lampard.
