New York City Football Club (NYCFC) today announced the Club’s 2024 MLS regular season schedule, marking the start of NYCFC’s 10th season.
The ‘Boys in Blue’ begin their 2024 campaign on the road against Charlotte FC on Saturday, February 24 at 7:30 p.m. ET, followed by a trip to CITYPARK to take on St. Louis CITY SC for the first time in Club history on Saturday, March 2 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
NYCFC’s 2024 home opener will take place the following Saturday, March 9 at Yankee Stadium at 2:00 p.m. ET against its opponents from the Club’s 2021 MLS Cup triumph, Portland Timbers. The Club has a 7-2-0 record in home openers.
The 2024 schedule features a total of 34 matches, with 28 matches against Eastern Conference opposition and six matches against teams from the Western Conference, including a first-time encounter against Austin FC when the Club visits Q2 Stadium on Saturday, July 6 at 8:30 p.m. ET. NYCFC will play nine matches at Yankee Stadium in The Bronx and six at Citi Field in Queens. The venue for the Club’s last two home matches of the regular season will be determined later in the year depending on MLB Playoffs.

The team is working hard to ensure that we bring home more victories next season and make our fans proud.”
Yankee Stadium will continue to host the majority of the Club’s matches, such as the match against reigning MLS Cup champion Columbus Crew in June and Inter Miami CF in September. The ‘Boys in Blue’ are also excited to continue playing matches at Citi Field, including the first-ever Hudson River Derby in Queens in May.
“Our fans always create an unbelievable atmosphere wherever we play, and we cannot wait to welcome them back for the upcoming season,” Sims added.

Everyone was able to see a team that started to gel and play the attacking football that we are known for. We’re coming into this new season with a real desire to give our fans a lot to cheer for.”
NYCFC will release its Promotional Schedule for the 2024 season in the near future, including matches that will be part of 2024’s City Celebration Series.
Fans will be able to watch the 2024 season through MLS Season Pass, the subscription service from Apple and Major League Soccer that has every match of the MLS regular season, Audi 2024 MLS Cup Playoffs and Leagues Cup. NYCFC fans can also follow the ‘Boys in Blue’ in action through NYCFC Radio in both English and Spanish languages.
