MLS Cup Champions NYCFC will host the Liga MX Champions at Yankee Stadium
New York, N.Y., May 4, 2022 – New York City Football Club (NYCFC) today launched tickets for the 2022 Campeones Cup, an annual match between the reigning MLS Cup Champions and the Liga MX Campeón de Campeones winners. This year’s match will take place on September 14 at 7:30pm ET at Yankee Stadium.
2022 City Members can purchase additional tickets and will receive preferred pricing for this match via this link. As a reminder City Members can use account credit to secure additional tickets. The general public can purchase their tickets for the Cup match here.

Established in 2018, the Campeones Cup is an annual cup game hosted by the reigning MLS Cup Champions against the Liga MX Campeón de Campeones winners. NYCFC qualified as the MLS team and host for this year’s match following its first-ever MLS Cup win last year against Portland, winning 4-2 on penalties. MLS teams currently hold a 2-1 record in the competition.
