New York City FC have confirmed their full list of squad numbers for the 2019 MLS season.
With seven new additions so far, there are a host of new numbers to familiarize yourselves with as we head into the first game of Season 5.
Starting from the back, NYCFC’s first round draft pick Luis Barraza takes on the 13 shirt in his rookie season out of Marquette University.
Moving through the midfield – which makes up a majority of New York City’s additions this offseason – US U-20 National Team player Juan Pablo Torres takes 14, ex-Orlando City man Tony Rocha takes 15, and US Men’s National Team player and Benfica loanee Keaton Parks takes 55. Homegrown signing and Bushwick native Justin Haak makes 80 official – a nod to the number he wore on preseason last year in Mexico vs. Atletico San Luis.
Romania’s finest – NYC’s newest DP attacker – Alexandru Mitriță will wear the number 28.
Elsewhere, the numbers remain the same, with young Americans James Sands and Joe Scally at 16 & 25 respectively.
