This week in Pirlo’s Corner, Andrea goes biking with his son, visits the Golden Gate Bridge, and prepares for his first ever MLS All-Star game in San Jose.
Both Andrea and teammate David Villa played in the MLS All-Star game Thursday, July 28th against Arsenal FC.
When asked about participating in the game, Pirlo said “It was a good experience. For me, [my] first all-star game was a good match against a good team. Now I come back to New York because Saturday we have a great match.”

Andrea won both the UEFA European Under-21 Championship Golden Player, and Top Scorer in 2000.
Andrea will continue his busy travel week as he flies back to New York after the All-Star game for a pivotal matchup with the Colorado Rapids. Catch the match on Saturday, July 30th at 3 P.M at Yankee Stadium.
