New York City FC defender Ronald Matarrita has been selected to MLS’s Team of the Week for week 10. This is the second time this season that Matarrita has been named to MLS's Team of the Week (week six)

The defender collected his second assist of the season and was part of a back four that helped NYCFC collect their second clean sheet of the season. The NYCFC defense did not let D.C. United get a shot on target for the whole match in the Club’s 2-0 win on Sunday night. The Costa Rican also completed 100% of his crosses (3 for 3) against D.C. United.
