New York City FC remained unbeaten after their fourth consecutive positive result – a 2-2 draw vs. New England Revolution in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
Despite missing David Villa and Anton Tinnerholm for a second straight match – and Rodney Wallace being away on international duty with Costa Rica, NYCFC was able to come up with the goals again, thanks in large part to the man we’ve come to know as “Isi”.
The new number 29 made it 3 goals in 2 games for the Boys in Blue, marking his first City start with a timely brace that equalized on two separate occasions in the second half.
NYC’s depth on the wings was touted after the offseason – and Tajour-Shradi proved many people right with his ability to create and most importantly, take chances so far.

While the first goal was the result of a precise and swift counter attack, Isi’s second strike was all him – turning Yangel Herrera’s perfectly weighted through ball into a launching pad for a left footed strike that flew into the top corner.
