The Major League Soccer family unites in support of Orlando in the wake of the deadliest hate crime in US history.
During Saturday night's Orlando City vs. San Jose Earthquakes match at Camping World Stadium, a moment of silence will be held in the 49th minute to remember the 49 victims who lost their lives in the mass shooting.
Also, Orlando players as well as the visiting Earthquakes will wear special patches and t-shirts during pregame walkouts, and first responders and support service personnel will be recognized in a pregame ceremony. MLS Commissioner Don Garber will be in attendance and participate in the pregame remembrances.
Orlando City has also partnered with other pro sports teams to sell #OrlandoUnited branded t-shirtswith all net proceeds benefitting the OneOrlando Fund. The club's community arm, the Orlando City Foundation, has also pledged to donate $100,000 to the City of Orlandoās OneOrlando Fund.
