Standing Room Only for Hudson River Derby

Fans at Yankee Stadium

New York City FC have announced, as of Sunday August 6, general seating tickets for Sunday’s Hudson River Derby have sold out.

Fans have snapped up more than 30,000 tickets for the only Yankee Stadium meeting with Red Bulls in 2017.

While a limited number of standing room only remain, the incredible demand to be at this eighth rendition of the Hudson River Derby has led to a first sell-out of the season.

NYCFC President Jon Patricof said: “This rivalry continues to grow in importance to New Yorkers as is evident in the demand for this game.

“We’re looking forward to an electric atmosphere on Sunday. We can always count on our loyal, passionate fanbase to get behind the team and this game is no exception.”

If you can’t be at Yankee Stadium on Sunday, the match will be broadcasted live on Fox Sports.
