David Villa is your Etihad Player of the Month!
After a strong month in which he scored three goals and was named a finalist for the 2017 MLS MVP Award, Villa took home 71% of the vote.
David was up against Alexander Ring, Frederic Brillant, and Maxi Moralez for the month of October, but his strike that gave NYCFC their first-ever playoff goal was enough to give the captain this month's honors.
El Guaje was also a pivotal figure for his team in the season finale of the MLS Regular Season, scoring two goals that were enough to send NYCFC through to the Eastern Conference semifinals.
