VOTE: Etihad Player of the Month for August

POTM August

It’s time to vote for your Etihad Player of the Month for August.

It was an up and down month for the Blues, but some key performances were put in, highlighted by the 9-man result vs. Red Bulls, and the undefeated Yankee Stadium record is still in tact.

Vote for your favorite stand out performer below!

Ebenezer Ofori

Eben’s growth throughout the season has been fantastic to watch, and his strength in filling in for Yangel Herrera has been one of the main reasons NYCFC continue to hover near the top of the MLS Supporters Shield standings. A harsh red-card in the Hudson River Derby put him out for a game, but you won’t find a more consistent midfielder in our rotation as of late.

Ismael Tajouri-Shradi

He’s back to his best netting goals – and after netting a brace in Toronto and another one in Columbus, Isi now leads the team with 11 on the year. Newcomer of the Year? Let’s see how the season finishes out…

Sebastian Ibeagha

An underrated find in the offseason, Seb has stepped in beautifully for Alexander Callens and Maxime Chanot on numerous occasions, and the highlight of his first season with NYCFC came with a Team of the Week performance vs. the Red Bulls in the stand at Yankee Stadium.

David Villa

The heart and soul is back in blue, and the goal vs. Red Bulls when NYCFC was down only one man in the second half shows just what the captain has left in the tank. Ramping up at just the right time…
