Eight players are preparing their resumes to be chosen by you (yes, you) to represent NYCFC in the MLS All-Star Game Fan XI.
You can vote for your favorite player once per day from now until June 30th.
Help select the 2017 MLS All-Stars. You can vote once per day and everyone that submits a ballot is entered to win a VIP trip to the 2017 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target. Also, you can earn a bonus contest entry if you share you picks after voting. Voting ends at midnight pacific time on June 30.

Cast your vote for the MLS All-Stars' third forward by scoring goals in EA SPORTS FIFA 17 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, or PlayStation 3. Every time you score a goal using a forward on the MLS All-Star ballot that player will receive a vote. Each goal scored equals one vote. (Voting ends June 30 at midnight PT.)
So who’s on the ballot and why should they get your vote? Let’s take a look!
Sean Johnson – GK
Since coming over from Chicago before the start of the 2017 season, Johnson has been a rock for NYCFC. He’s notched 38 saves for the club, along with 7 wins and 3 shutouts. He’s done enough to earn a call-up to the United States Men’s National Team provisional Gold Cup roster, as well. Not too shabby.
Alexander Callens – DEF
Beyond scoring the game winner against Philadelphia this past weekend, Callens has been a big part of NYCFC’s success in 2017, helping anchor a defense with the 2nd best goal differential in the Eastern Conference. He’s started all of NYCFC’s 15 games this season, averaging over 4 clearances per game and completing 85.6% of his passes.
Ronald Matarrita – DEF
Mata established himself as one Major League Soccer’s breakout stars last season, dazzling fans with his pace and helping propel NYCFC to their first ever playoff appearances. After suffering an injury setback this season, Mata is back in action with the club, and ready to play a leading role for Costa Rica through a busy summer schedule with a place at the 2018 FIFA World Cup on the line.
Alex Ring – MID
Alex Ring has brought the hurt to NYCFC’s opponents this season, and his presence has added a new element to the club’s midfield. He’s been a precise passer, cool under pressure, and eats up a ton of ground defensively. Ring is capable of doing just about everything a midfielder could be asked to do, and he’s shown it during his first season in blue.
Jack Harrison – MID
Speaking of breakout stars, English youngster Jack Harrison has established himself as one of the brightest young attackers in MLS. With six goals in 14 starts, Jack is second on the team in goals and on pace to score double-digits this season.
Maxi Moralez – MID
Though small in stature, NYCFC’s newest designated player has had a mammoth impact on the club’s attacking prowess since joining from Club Leon. He’s already got 38 created chances, 6 assists, and a pair of goals to his name in 15 starts, and he’s shown no sign of slowing down.
Rodney Wallace – ATT
Another newcomer, Wallace has been a true box-to-box workhorse for NYCFC this season. In just 13 matches, he’s notched 4 goals and 3 assists. On the defensive side of things, he’s contributed 27 tackles, 18 clearances, and 13 interceptions.
David Villa – ATT
This one’s a no-brainer, right? The reigning MLS MVP has already fired in 8 goals, tallied 3 assists, and has put in the work on defense worthy of a true captain. He’s on the hunt to surpass his 2016 tally of 23 goals—just one shy of the Golden Boot—this season, and has done his part to keep NYCFC firmly in the playoff hunt.
