The XI | Four Changes for New England Showdown

The XI New England

New York City FC is back home in the Bronx to take on New England Revolution for the first time this season as they look to keep the W streak going.

As City gears up to face off against Bruce Arena’s in-form side, Dome Torrent has made a number of changes to the XI due to international callups, injuries, and suspensions.

With Sean Johnson on international duty, Brad Stuver has stepped up and will be in net for today’s match for his eighth appearance of the season.

Sebastien Ibeagha is back in the defensive line for Alex Callens, while Ben Sweat returns for Ronald Matarrita who is serving the second game of his suspension for the red card in the Hudson River Derby.

Alex Ring makes his return to the lineup after serving a one game suspension against Vancouver, while Gary Mackay-Steven, who scored his first goal for NYCFC last week, will be in the starting XI for the injured Héber.

After being listed as questionable, Ismael Tajouri-Shradi and Ebenezer Ofori are starting the night off on the bench and could make an appearance at some point in the 90’.

If you can’t make it out to the BX, the match will be broadcast live on Univision and on Twitter.

Let’s get it, #ForTheCity.

NYCFC XI: Stuver, Tinnerholm, Chanot, Ibeagha, Sweat, Ring (C), Parks, Moralez, Mitriță, Mackay-Steven, Castellanos
