The time has come, your Boys in Blue are back at home and ready to kick off Season 5 in the BX.
Alexandru Mitriță will be making his home debut by starting for NYCFC against DC United.
The forward, along with Valentin Castellanos, who will be making his first start of the season, bring their speed and strength to the NYCFC attack.
18-year-old James Sands will be making his second start for the team in 2019, retaining his place in Dome Torrent’s XI. Sands will be joined by Alexander Ring and Maxi Moralez in the midfield three, while Jesus Medina will be bringing the width.
Anton Tinnerholm, Maxime Chanot, Alexander Callens, and Ben Sweat will be running the defense, asserting a strong presence in the back, in order to assist Sean Johnson protecting the net.
Available to Torrent, on the bench, are Keaton Parks and Juan Pablo Torres, the young midfielders, who have yet to make their home debut. Ismael Tajouri-Shradi and Jonathan Lewis are also two powerful options for Torrents frontline.
