The YES Network will live broadcast New York City FC's press conference today, beginning at 3:30 p.m. YES' New York City FC play-by-play man, Joe Tolleson, will be live at the Grand Hyatt while Chris Shearn will anchor from the YES studios.
New York City FC midfielder Frank Lampard and defenders Andoni Iraola and Angelino, along with head coach Jason Kreis, will field questions from the media ahead of their New York City FC debut this weekend against Toronto FC.
Lampard, Chelsea's all-time scoring leader and 2011-12 UEFA Champions League winner, spent the last season playing at Manchester City FC. Iraola, a right back, made 510 appearances for Athletic Bilbao over the last 12 seasons, recently captaining the side to a Copa del Rey runner-up finish. Angelino, a promising 18-year-old left back, had a succesful campaign with the Manchester City Elite Development Squad (U-21).
New York City FC (5-8-5; 20 points) host Toronto FC (7-7-2; 23 points) at 3 p.m. EDT on Sunday at Yankee Stadium. Tickets are still available.
