Captain David Villa and midfielder Tommy McNamara are part of a 64 goal, bracket style field to determine the MLS AT&T Goal of the Year.

Villa, who had 18 goals in the regular season for New York City FC, matches up in the first round against Diego Fagundez of the New England Revolution.
McNamara, whose long range goal vs. the Philadelphia Union earned him MLS Goal of the Week honors, faces off against Darlington Nagbe of the Portland Timbers.
The first round of voting is open November 2-6.
